World Investment Forum 2018
On 22-25 October 2018, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) is hosting the World Investment Forum 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland

The UNCTAD World Investment Forum is the pre-eminent global platform for investment and development. The Forum devises strategies and solutions for global investment and development challenges. It facilitates multi-stakeholder collective action to stimulate investment in development. The Forum offers a unique opportunity to influence investment-related policymaking, shape the global investment environment, and to network with global leaders in business and politics.

2018 marks the 10th anniversary of the Forum. Previous editions took place in Accra (2008), Xiamen (2010), Doha (2012), Geneva (2014) and Nairobi (2016), The Forum was set up to fill the investment institutional gap in the international economic governance architecture. Since its inception it has served as the leading forum to leverage investment policy for sustainable development.

The Forum biennually gathers more than 4,000 investment stakeholders from 160 countries. The stakeholder landscape encompasses high-level participants from the global investment community, including Heads of State and Government, ministers, executives of global companies and stock exchanges, sovereign wealth fund managers, investment treaty negotiators, heads of investment promotion agencies, international investment location experts, heads of international organizations, parliamentarians, civil society representatives, eminent scholars, and the international media.

The World Green Economy Summit | (WGES 2017)-24 to 25 October 2018
The World Green Economy Summit (WGES) is one of the leading global forums on the green economy. It brings together world-class experts in critical sectors from around the world to directly focus on advancing the global green economy and sustainability agenda, achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals and implementing the recommendations of COP21 & 22.

Organised by the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority and World Green Economy Organisation, the Summit is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President Prime Minister of UAE and The Ruler of Dubai, in cooperation with Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and WETEX.

4th United Nations Environment Assembly(UNEA4) -11-15 March 2019.
Background of UNEP and UNEA
The United Nations Environment Assembly which meets every two years, is the highest-level meeting of the ministers of the environment at the level of United Nations. The meeting provides a forum for environment ministers, to set priorities for the global environmental agenda and take decisions on how to address environmental problems. The Assembly also guides and gives direction to the governance of the UN Environment Programme, which was created in 1972 as the secretariat for global environmental issues within the United Nations (UN) system.

The High-level International Environment Conference will be held back to back with the a Preparatory Retreat of the bureaux of the Environment Assembly and of the Committee of the Permanent Representatives to the Environment Programme on 6th and 7th of September. The retreat represent an important second milestone meeting to discuss key elements in preparations for UNEA-4 to be held in Nairobi 11-15 March 2019.

Women Farmers Literacy Center


The project involve the building of hall of two floor of 8 squares metres at lower Bokova Village (mile15) to be used as a community hall for training on agricultural literacy and Community library. The goal of the project is to promote agricultural literacy and improve sustainable livelihood among 2,000 women farmers in village communities in Buea South West Region, Cameroon.
